- You can expect a quick, sporty performance from both the 2025 and 2026 SUVs!
- With an MSRP of $34,300*, the 2026 Chevy Blazer comes at a discount compared to last year's model (which started at $35,600*).
Will there be a 2026 Chevy Blazer?
Did you hear that the Blazer was riding off into the sunset? So did we. Luckily, those reports turned out to be incorrect, and Chevy's stylish midsize SUV lives to see another model year. Well, the gas-powered version does, anyway. The Blazer EV is officially retired from the North American market.
Does the 2026 Chevy Blazer get any new features compared to the 2025 model year?
Not so much, unfortunately. On the bright side, though, most of what we love about this speedy midsize SUV returns for 2026! There are a few changes to the lineup, however. First of all, the Blazer's upscale trim model, the Premier, is no longer available. And the 308-horsepower V6 engine (once standard for the sporty RS and optional for the 3LT and Premier trims) is now optional for the RS only.
Blazer Changes for 2026
- 3.6L V6 optional for RS trim only
- Top-tier Premier trim discontinued
Which is the better daily driver, the 2026 Chevy Blazer or 2025 Chevy Blazer?
Technically, these Blazer model years are available with the same engine options, making both excellent daily drivers. This is especially true if you're shopping for sporty handling and speed! Then again, the quickest engine -- a 308-horsepower V6 -- isn't as widely available as it was last year. While the 2025 Blazer RS comes standard with this sporty powertrain, it's optional for the 2026 Blazer RS. For 2025, this V6 was optional for the 3LT and Premier trims. However, this is no longer true for the 2026 Blazer.
