2025 Chevy Blazer EV
One of the newest EVs on the market is back for more. The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV takes the Blazer name and puts a modern, and more sustainable twist on a fan favorite. We’ll take a deeper dive into some features and other aspects of the vehicle so you don’t have to. This is your comprehensive 2025 Chevy Blazer EV review.
Key takeaways

- The Blazer EV comes standard with a level 2 charger, allowing you to charge faster at home without needing to opt for it.
- With the right setup, you can go 324 miles, ensuring there’s less stops at a charging station.
- While this isn’t a luxury vehicle, when you’re behind the wheel, it will certainly feel like one.
How much will the EV Blazer cost?

The 2025 EV Blazer comes in at $45,995. For 2025, the Chevy Blazer EV comes in hot with some new configurations joining the lineup. This includes a front-wheel-drive base model and a performance-oriented SS model with 595 horsepower. Some new features also come on the LT trim. These are a new 21-inch wheel option and a contrasting black- or white-painted roof.
If you’re interested in a new package, then you’re in luck as 2025 sees the introduction of the Midnight/Sport Edition package. This package adds 19-inch black aluminum wheels, high gloss black roof rails, and black badging.
Now that we’ve gone over some new features, let’s go over some prices. The Blazer EV comes in 3 trim, these are the:
- LT starting at $45,995
- RS starting at $51,295
- SS starting at $62,490
If you’re not too sure which trim to get, Car and Driver recommends the single-motor, rear-wheel drive RS model. While it does cost more than the AWD variant, it does come with more power. This variant also “unlocks the Blazer’s maximum 324-mile driving range.”
Car and Driver also notes that the “RS trim comes standard with cool 21-inch wheels, a power-operated hands-free rear liftgate, heated-and-ventilated front seats, a heated flat-bottomed steering wheel, and an illuminated Chevrolet bowtie logo.” Which are a few more reasons this trim is the one that caught their eye.
Is the Blazer EV a luxury car?

No, the Blazer EV isn’t a luxury car. But, while the Blazer EV isn’t a luxury trim, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t luxurious. When you look at the SS, you’ll find that it comes with some cushy features.
When behind the wheel, you will be riding in comfort on perforated suede and Evotex seats. Not only are these seats durable, they’re also comfortable. Evotex seats are great for those who want to have a sustainable, yet leather like interior. For the colder regions, like here in New Jersey, the heated seats that come across both rows are a welcome feature.
Being that the driver has the most important seat in the vehicle, you’re treated to some extra features too. These are a heated, flat bottom steering wheel. Not only is this stylish, it’s also comfortable.
How long does it take to charge a Blazer EV?
At home, you can charge your Chevy Blazer EV overnight.
Being that most people will opt to charge their vehicle at home, Chevy equipped the Blazer EV with a level 2 charger. This lets you charge your vehicle to full every night without worry. While a level 2 charger needs to be professionally installed, it’s more than worth it for the average household. When you’re on the road and need some extra juice, pulling into a DC fast charging station will add 78 miles in as little as 10 minutes.
On the topic of battery charging and range, we’ll cover some of the ranges you can expect. As we mentioned earlier, with the right configuration, you can go up to 324 miles. While on most other trims, you can expect 280 miles on one charge.
