2019 Chevrolet Traverse
In the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, you and your family can increase everyday adventure without missing out on modern comfort and technology.
What’s new for the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse?
This year, the Traverse introduces a bigger, 8-inch touchscreen. Each of the seven Traverse trim models come standard with Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment, which features a 7-inch touchscreen interface. The optional 8-inch touchscreen displays larger menus, making them easier to use.
Why choose the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse?
This three-row crossover SUV is both sporty and family-friendly, giving you the road-trip-ready cabin you require and the utility features you crave. On the comfort side of things, you have three rows of adult-friendly head and leg room. Plush, supportive seating is just what the doctor ordered for the long trip to grandmother’s house.
Every Traverse features an in-cabin Wi-Fi hotspot to keep young passengers happily occupied. Chevrolet’s OnStar emergency telematics system will put your mind at ease, with on-demand roadside assistance and automatic collision notification features to help you remedy unexpected problems.
On the sporty side of things, the Chevrolet Traverse offers all-wheel drive to maximize traction on light trails. Add the Trailering package for a trailer hitch and a heavy-duty cooling system to help lug campers and boats into the wilderness. The cabin provides abundant space for passengers, child seats, and whatever outdoor gear you’re bringing along for the ride. You’ll find 23 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. Flip down both rows of rear seats to create 98.2 cubic feet of maximum cargo space – plenty of room for your surfboard.
Does the Traverse offer all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive?
For an increasingly sporty ride, the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse offers all-wheel drive. In addition taking corners with greater precision, all-wheel drive technology also helps you maintain your footing on dangerously icy winter roads. This performance-enhancing equipment is optional on all but the Traverse RS, which can only be had with front-wheel drive.
How much can the 2019 Traverse tow?
Equipped with the V6 engine, your Traverse can tow up to 5,000 pounds. That makes this three-row crossover SUV an excellent choice for medium-size boat and Airstream owners. Note that the sporty Traverse RS trim comes standard with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, reducing towing capabilities to 1,500 pounds.
