2023 Chevy Suburban

There are a few exciting new developments for the Suburban. For starters, the top-trim High Country now comes standard with adaptive cruise control. This cruise control technology monitors traffic flow, and it can adjust your speed to keep you a safe distance from the vehicle up ahead.

Even more exciting is the new Super Cruise system. Available for the Premier or High Country trim models, Super Cruise is the only truly hands-free driving system available right now. It works on pre-mapped divided highways across North America.

As a three-row, truck-based SUV, the Chevy Suburban appeals to big families who like to get off the beaten track. Compared to the Tahoe, Chevy’s other full-size SUV, the Suburban adds 15 inches in length, and that means 16 additional cubic feet of cargo space (for a total of 41.5 cubes behind the rear seats).

And this SUV is an absolute powerhouse, with three muscular engine options. Among them is a turbo-diesel engine that allows you to combine your adventure with impressive fuel efficiency. And its big V8 engines offer very impressive towing capabilities, making the Suburban an excellent option for families with oversized toys. Although this three-row SUV is big, it never feels unwieldy. Thanks to its easy going handling and responsive steering, the Suburban is surprisingly agile.

This three-row SUV can tow a very big boat, thanks to its max tow rating of 8,300 pounds! You can achieve this figure with the Max Trailering package and the base 5.3-liter V8 engine. Four-wheel-drive models with the turbo-diesel engine have the lowest tow ratings, but they’re still pretty capable, maxing out at 7,800 pounds.

There are three engines available for your new Suburban, all of which deliver the kind of strong, smooth performance you expect to find in this segment. A 10-speed automatic transmission is quick to send power to the rear wheels, or all four wheels if you select four-wheel drive.
